We can officially put another PEI Crafts Council Christmas Fair in the books as the 47th Annual Fair wrapped up Sunday evening. What an event it was! We had record number’s through the door on Friday (Remembrance Day) & they continued to come through until Sunday. It was great to see so many people supporting our local independent artists!
Each year we hand out 3 awards to our exhibitors – Best Theme Product, Best New Product and Best Booth. This year’s theme was “Jingle Bells”. The winner of this award was Village Pottery’s rustic and festive pottery bells. Congratulations Village Pottery & thanks for participating in the fair theme!
Up next is the Best New Product – Awarded to Muse In Me for their beautiful glass bead scarf holder, which helps keep your scarves in place as demonstrated here by Ayse, owner of Muse In Me. Congratulations, we hope you had a great weekend at the fair and that you have great success with this creative new product!
Last but certainly not least is our coveted award for “Best Booth”. The judges had a tough task but in the end, Marcela Rosemburg’s Glass Studio booth took home the prize. Her booth is simple, inviting & showcases her beautiful glass work perfectly. Congratulations Marcela!
We’d like to congratulate all of our exhibitors on a great fair! A big thank you to those who helped organize the big event, our volunteers who helped run it and of course, everyone who attended the fair and supported local independent artists. Best of luck to all of our members who are traveling off-island for fairs this weekend. May you have a prosperous craft fair season!
